Rachael received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing with her Minor in Psychology from Dominican University of California in San Rafael in 1998. She then received her Masters of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from San Francisco State University in 2006 in women’s health and further received her Post-Masters in Midwifery from University of Cincinnati in 2009. She recently accomplished her Sexual Health Certification, which now expands her practice, and ability to practice as a sexual health clinician offering consultation and counseling services. She has been practicing for over 19 years, specializing in obstetrics, infertility, uro-gynecology, pelvic and sexual health.
In her healthcare career as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she has not only been in clinical care solely, she also had several leadership, administrative, and educational roles in healthcare, including opportunities to open new clinics, and help create healthcare access across the care continuum to optimally meet patient needs. In addition, she was born and raised in a family business. She has a very strong business background, that will optimally benefit the growth and development of her own practice. Through the years of evolving health care changes, she strongly believes, that no matter how health care is changing, the primary focus needs to be about the patient, and quality of services provided.
After all the years of being in the community, and the extent of expertise she has developed, she now is proud and committed to opening her own practice with the genuine, unique, service line that will be treating thousands of women and men with pelvic and sexual issues, collaborating with colleagues to give “above and beyond quality of care “. She was born in raised in Walnut Creek, California, and has worked in the community for the past 18 years of her profession. One thing she has learned, is when you are in business, you need to become a part of the community, to support the needs of your profession, and develop relationships, trust, and loyalty.
